How soon or even will we be able to create custom civilizations and fleets for the game?
You can create custom races now and have had the ability for months, you can create your own fleets now and have for months.
Last I heard you cannot save your custom race, only reuse the last modified one nor is it saved separately.
i think i remember hearing that the full custom races were going to try to be part of 0.9. the races right now are very customizable though.
It will not be long now. As said though you can alreayd modify existing civs to play around with some different stats/attributes cominbinations.
I know about customizing a race now... I like to create 30 to 40 different races to be able to spread things out more. For GC III I have about 80 created races and was fun to have all different races. I get tired of seeing the same ones over and over again.
