Acoustic Bridge can't connect (after many years of usage)

unable to find computer with the name provided

Today, all of a sudden my acoustic bridge wasn't working. I figured it had dropped connection as it does sometimes and I switched my laptop from sending to receiving and back, this usually fixes it.
After that didn't work I eventually found it wasn't muting my laptop's audio anymore.
After rebooting both the laptop and the pc it's meant to connect to it still wasn't fixed.
I tried changing the passcode and even the host pc's network name and now it says "Unable to find a computer with the name provided on your network."

However, the name and passcode I set up are exactly as I entered them on the main pc. I also tried using its ipv4 address to no avail.
I checked the windows firewall and acoustic bridge is an allowed program.

What could be the issue? I can access the pc's files on my laptop so it's not a network issue and they're definitely on the same workgroup. Please help, this setup has worked for years until today.

Okay, ignore my dumb ass

Somehow windows decided on my pc that my wired network should be labeled as public instead of private...
Fixed.

Fixed.

I hate how Windows does that sometimes.
