Multiplayer Types of Games

I see that there are three choses of scenarios/campaigns for MP games now.

Will there be a fourth choice - a vanilla sandbox game, where you setup the number of human and AI players and races, the galaxy size and parameters, and allowing you to pick from the standard victory choices?

I truly hope so. Although I assume that might be a lot of extra work to get the AI to work as a team.
