Question about water effects (ripple wave etc.) for this wonderful community

I am looking for a program (be it object desktop or a program in that suite or another one entirely) that puts a picture on my desktop of my choice (including no picture at all) and can translate wave motion and ripples (ripples being signaled by a click on the desktop akin to tapping the water with ur finger) that distort the text and image of the icons as well as the background picture. Also, perhaps integration of objection such as system metrics or a fish could be possible since a lot of objects already exist out there. This would be soooo cool!

You guys seem like you have the skills to make this so I am asking you if it is even possible and if possible, can i be pointed in the right direction to obtaining it.

Thanks for any/all replies. What a great site

One program that would do this fabulously is Anfy.

If you figure a way to incorporate it into Object Desktop, now that would be very, very cool. Hmmmmmmm..... maybe I'll give it a go. I haven't used the program in about a year.

Keep us posted on what you come up with.
