Festron Citizen Approvals Carrying Over After Consumption

I am playing as Festron species and recently took over a core planet. The existing citizens had the negative approval tag of "You are at war with my species -30%". Upon consuming that citizen and it being replaced with a Festron citizen, the tag remained. This approval tag has carried over for 6 turns so far.
