Disappearing Projects Menu

On the planet management screen, the projects menu disappears after a while into the game.  Not sure how far, as I didn't check that, but after at least an hour of playing.

I'm afraid you're going to have to be more specific. I've played dozens of hours and have no idea what you are talking about unless it is #15.

I ran into this.It stretch to the left,,, after reboot it was back where it belongs,,, It was after turn 400. if that helps.

I wonder if it is tied to the length of a particular game session (not turns, but time since the game started/loaded). I've seen variations in how much of the panel fails to slide into view, sometimes less than 1/4, sometimes maybe 2/3. I've been interpreting it as a bug with the feature of helping me shrug off just-one-more-turn.

I have a screen cap if a dev reads this and would find it helpful.

I don't think it is session duration. I've been known to leave the game running and it does not appear to have any effect.

It can be that #15, but sometimes it just disappears completely, possibly from the same bug.  There seems to be no rhyme or reason as to whether it's a partial cutoff or a complete cutoff.

Bugs like these can be difficult to reproduce. Do you happen to have a save where its occurring?

Not at the moment, no.  It's very sporadic in occurrence.

Yeah a save would be key in tracking. Reproducing a bug is the first step to fixing in most cases.

Out of curiosity what rez are you playing?

Ok, I have a saved copy now.  How do I get it to you?

Thank you for providing the save file. I will load it up and play for a while to see if I can reproduce the issue.

Unfortunately I have been unable to reproduce this issue. I haven't given up though. I will continue to monitor for it as I continue testing. If you are able to reproduce it, can you include a screenshot here? If you can also DM me your DXDiag file, it will help us as well. To create a dxdiag, click start and type run (or search run in taskbar). In the run window type dxdiag. When the DirectX window opens and completes click Save All Information at the bottom. Save that file and send it to me.

Ok.  To say "disappearing" is not quite accurate.  It's more like it won't open all the way.

Thank you for the additional info. Can you do a screen capture of what you are seeing and post it here for us?

I'll try.  It hasn't happened in quite a while.
