Not Sure How to Add Borders to a Frame

I have learned quite a bit, creating styles for Curtains. But, there is one area that I am not understanding. How do I create a transparent Windows 7 border to the left or right or bottom part of a window frame? I have tried this, that, and the other, and no change is seen but the standard flat WIndows 10 window frame with no borders. A example of what I am looking for is the windows 7 aeroglass curtains theme by UK58, or Cirrus, which is a Curtains theme found on DeviantArt............... Anyway, any help or suggestions would be most appreciated. Thanks and have a great day!

learn from  skins, look at .CurtainsStyle  file in Skin folder, you must use your own border files created in Photoshop with transparency background.

There's a good chance they built them into the shadow images.

Make a copy of one of them, then look at the shadow images and settings, including on the "Advanced" tab.  I say to make a copy first because it's very easy to accidentally overwrite the custom shadow images and lose the settings, depending on how their image files were named.
