Has it ever worked?

Are you adding the receiver by Host Name or IP?

If you don't use AB and have speakers or headphones plugged into the sender, do you hear sound?

Yes all sound works without AB and with speakers or headphones in.

While this of for Multiplicy and its Sound stuff, it applies here as well.  I would like you to review these:

It's still not working after trying those steps. I'm trying to completely uninstall it and reinstall but when I uninstall it remembers the hostname and password. How do I completely uninstall it?

I should only 'remember' what you typed in - you should be able to change it.

my point is if it remembers config it's not completely uninstalled. i want it completely uninstalled.

Then it would be in the registry under the specific app name:

\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Stardock

\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Stardock

For example, if you wanted to remove all the settings for Fences, one would delete:

\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Stardock\Fences

\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Stardock\Fences

I just don't have AB installed as Multiplicity is what I use for sending audio (and I would encourage you to try for 30 days)

If you uninstall AB, install Multiplicity, I could help you more readily.  Is that a possibility for you?
