My initial thoughts v0.65

Playing my first game of GC4. Here are my initial thoughts.

Overall I love it.  However there are some peeves.

1. Don't like that one's population blocks (which represent 10's on millions of beings) having actual individual names. Why not name them after regions or nationality.

2. Despite building starbase modules I don't have any modules available for my starbases? Obviously I am missing something. So it should be more transparent on how to build modules and upgrade the starbases.

3. Ongoing 4x space game peeve is that you can't pick your government at the start and still need to research governments, Hey we currently know how every style of government works today and have a wide array of actual working examples. So why have to reinvent them all.

4. Same goes for hull types. Even as is with the special ships and colony ships one has tech to build large ships, so why does one have to research larger hulls again. Game should start with Tiny to Large available.

5. Don't like the special ship idea. Feels unrealistic looking at naval history and most science fiction. Leaders should be assigned to existing military ship types that will be used as a flag ship.

First and foremost, by playing .65 instead of the test version you are at least two months behind in the patch department. Peeve 3 has been "solved" governments are out and not anticipated back till the first DLC.

1. As far as I can decern from the forums the populations represent leaders of various factions so Farmer John is the head Farmer and General Nuisance leads your military. From what I've read they are not like in previous versions millions of Peeps.

2. Sounds like a bug I would first try Verifying your files if it persists post a save game on Discord.

4. The large ships that are Colony/Constructor types are Eggshells compared to the latter Warships. The difference between start game Civilian ships and later game large hulls is vastly different in terms of hit points. Just look at the history of Ironclad warships it took 50 years for ships to go from the first ship made of iron plate to the Dreadnaught made of steel. Also the first three "Flagships" at least the Human Versions are really just "Armed Merchantmen" with the Gaze being the first Warship and it good only in tandem with the Discovery till many promotions are achieved.

5. That appears to be one you and I are going to have to live with. Just think of them as ships gotten through the Brassiere err, I mean Bazaar. It as far as I can tell the Developers way of limiting the # of Admirals each faction can have.
