fences beta for win11

I am having issues all the sudden with my icons being double spaced horizontally and vertically and snap to grid so I can't organize them the way I would like. This just happened wasn't a problem before... my fences screenshot doesn't restore the layout. if i disable fences the icons go to normal behavior. when i activate it its all messed up again....

I do not have any special rules for my icons other than the default new icons go to the desktop....

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please try purge and reinstall steps as mentioned here: [link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account. Reboot after the purged. Reinstall, and Reboot again after the installation. Retest it. Report back here.

What about my snapshot that i want to restore? how can i back that up and restore the configuration after i purge and re-install? I imagine all my fences will be gone at that point? I have alot of icons organized....

Purge, should not delete your saved layout snapshot. But, if you wish you can use this guide to backup your layout snapshot. https://forums.stardock.com/486084/fences-support-faq#backupsnapshots.

The purge fixed the problem. thanks!!! I was able to restore my snapshot. I did back up the folder in case i needed to replace it but it wasn't required. I did notice there was a box in the purge that says remove settings. I didn't check because I figured it would remove the snapshot but it still worked. I reinstalled the app through objectdesktop launcher since it is officially released for win11 now

When is curtains coming? is it? or do i need to go back to windowsblinds?
