I like to reply on a post but receive the following message instead of empty box to reply:

Additional replies would exceed the limit for new accounts

OK, I know I am new on this Community but I do now understand that I receive this message as I have good intentions. I replied twice to another post without an issue already but is two replies the limitation for a newbie?

Note: It should be an added value when the message tells me some information about the limitations and the time I have to wait to be able to post new comments/replies.

Not sure where the disclosure lives but I believe there is an initial throttle on posts/replies from new forum members.  Gives the mods a chance to size the account up & screen for spam before turning them loose.  Nothing personal.

There is a frequency limit on posts for new members as a protection against spam-bots/spammers.

This eventually resolves itself and you can post normally...;)

It looks like this error means that newbies are sometimes forbitten to reply on particualar topics* and two, that you are not allowed as newbie to post a new reply when the last reply in that topic is from you as well.

* E.g. I am unable to reply to https://forums.stardock.com/507795/page/3/#3829949

That could be the case and maybe it is also linked to the time you are active on the forum.

At this moment I do not have any blocking issue anymore :thumbsup:
