Hello,
If you buy the stand alone version Start11 it's a one time purchase for that version and all future updates,
Good for 1 PC activation. or upgrade that for 5 PC activations
Just The 30 days trial version has the 30 days support all others full time support .
If a newer version become available there would be a upgrade price to upgrade to the newer version.
If you buy Start11 as part of the Object Desktop package with other apps included then that is a yearly
subscription but that includes any new versions for no extra charge . and 5 PC activations .

Hello @AzDude, you are talking about the following in your reply:
1) <Quote> ...Start11 it's a onetime purchase for that version and all future updates... <Unquote>
2) <Quote> ... If a newer version become available, there would be a upgrade price to upgrade to the newer version.... <Unquote>
Could you please be so kind to explain the difference between 1 and 2 ?
Thanks in advance for your reply,
Ty-Rap
Hello,
1 is Updates. Update usually something like V2.1->2.2->2.3 etc
2 is Upgrades. Upgrades usually something like V2.X->3.X->4.X etc
Hope that explain it.

Thanks Basj for the prompts response. I now understand the difference between Update and Upgrade but what will be the driver to move from an update to an upgrade? Maybe you can add one or two examples to clarify?
Thanks, Ty-Rap
From my observation, usually, new upgrade come along when there is major changes, usually link to Windows version. For example. When Windows 10 introduce, Start8 upgrade to Start10 and now Windows 11 introduce. Start10 move to Start11. etc.
Thank you,
