Please Bring ObjectDock to Windows 11

Honestly, while it works (sorta) in Windows 10 and is unsupported now, this product would make up for quite a few shortcomings in the Windows 11 Taskbar which even Start11 does not address.  I have ObjectDocks which autohide in Windows 10 (sorta) and which can be aligned as I wish (to the sides or top) and which have tabs and files and links.  This is the direction Windows probably would have gone if they were favoring functionality over standardization.

Really, you should consider this since the new "features" in Windows 11 left a gaping hole that this product already filled.

Old news....Read the forums.

My point is, they made it something that Windows 11 could really use.  You should rethink that.

I have used Object Dock for years, I am trying to use Fences 4 now but it cannot compare to Object Dock. In Object Docks I have 9 tabs with over 10 links in each, with little space on my desktop not with Fences.

I think Stardock should look at Object Dock again, It is a really good program

I just updated to Windows 11 yesterday. I finally got tired of looking at the update reminder in my taskbar after it sat there for over a month. I had actually stopped using ObjectDock years ago, can't remember why now and actually just reinstalled it yesterday just to get a visible clock with a second hand since my 3rd party taskbar clock I've used for ages won't work with Windows 11. I am a little disappointed there's no new content for it in Wincustomize but I can say the app itself seems to be working fine with Windows 11.

I, like you, love Objectdock.

Fortunately, I discovered that if you go to the Objectdock folder (within Stardock folder), right click on "ObjectDock.exe", select Properties, and select the Compatibility tab you will be given the option to run ObjectDock in Windows 8 compatibility mode.  Problem solved.

Thank you for that suggestion.  I will try it.

ObjectDock has always been a bit flakey in Windows 10 and although I have seen reports of issues with responsiveness, I do not recall ever seeing that suggestion (which makes a lot of sense).

Thanks!

Agreed, please do a new version for Win 11, I'd buy it again, and for Pete's Sake, PLEASE get the weather docklet working again.

What p**ses me off is that no work has been done on Object Dock since 2017, it is essentially abandonware, yet you still ask for product key or ask for a purchase of it even when you do nothing for it now. Update, maintain, make a new version, fix weather docklet API, then  it is worth real money, but not as it is. Sad...

You can always get the weather to function in Object Dock.  All you need to do is buy the $5 program and then personally spend 'only' $25 per month for the feed ......[I believe that's what Accuweather wants]...;)

When Object Dock was created there were more than one freely accessible weather feeds.....which soon went wholly commercial and prohibitive....;)
