Additional Civilisations Has Corrupted Game?

All was working well until I loaded additional Civs and seem to have lost synchronisation with the Steam workshop

I love the game and have all the DLC's loaded

I decided to add a lot of extra Civs and their ships from the workshop. I did this from the Steam workshop not inside the game

However, I started getting blank games when creating new ones with no planets etc and the few games I have managed to run start to crash part way in

I decided to unsubscribe all in the Steam library

This did not remove them from the game though and they are still present. I cannot remove from within the game so the same problem re crashing persists

I have de-installed everything and reinstalled with no change - they are still there!

I have also cleared my Steam cache, tried reinstalling to another drive but no change

So something has gone "screwy" between the game and the Steam workshop

Any help gratefully appreciated....

Moved to correct forum.

Sorry to hear you are having trouble.

Go to \Documents\My Games and rename the folder GC3Crusade to something else, like GC3CrusadeOld.

Try playing the game.

Thank you for your patience and patronage.

Wow - that seems to have sorted! Thank you so much

Can you clarify, if want to add additional civilisations and ships, is it better to do within the game or from the steam workshop please?

In-game you can only create your own custom civilizations and ships.

To get such items made by other players you have to use Steam Workshop.
