Start 11 update

The Start11/Win11start menu looks so much better in Windows 10 than the original.. at least to me. Unlike many, I actually like Windows 11. I'm forced to keep Win 10 on the main system and never really got used to all those tiles and different colors. Fantastically well done job on this.

Were you using Start10 before trying the Start11 beta?  I'm on Windows 10 and currently use Start10.  I wonder if there's any benefit in using Start11 on Windows10 compared with Start10?  TIA

Hello there, I miss the possibility of having toolbars in the TaskBar like in W7, W8 and W10. Are you going to implement this functionality? It is very useful to be able to navigate through the toolbar when you have folders.

Thanks

There are a massive number of changes in Start11 over Start10 even on Windows 10.

You gain the Windows 10 and 11 menu styles both of which support pages within the menu.  If you like the Win7/modern look you now have control over the right hand side shortcuts both in terms of reordering them, pinning application shortcuts too now, making them show icons, only icons or even hide it entirely.  It has the updated search system, grid mode for the menus now supports a number of spacing modes and the option to hide the labels.

Even the icons on the left hand side can now be instead of just small/big, they can be Tiny, Small, Medium, Large, Extra Large, Huge and Absurd (because why not)

Oh yes and the Win7/Modern styles now gain a dark mode where the search box and search (and left side in the case of Win7) are dark styles vs bright white.

And if you like the taskbar buttons centred that is now an option on Windows 10.
