ObjectDock help with trillian

Hi you all,i have trillian pro 2.0 and i have the icon on the objectdock to load it,but every time i click on it again it launches a new copy of trillian but i want it to launch the one thats already working.i clicked on the option saying to launch the object in use in the "configure dock" but it still doesnt work.i dont want to have my explorer on autohide cause all i wanted to use was the objectdock...can someone help me

i think this is a simple one...right click on an empty part of the dock, go to dock preferences, click on the tab "dock contents" make sure that there is a check in the "dock taskbar enabled" then it will show icons to start programs, AND programs that are already running.

Well trillian is in the tray per default setup. There is an option in Trillian under Basic Options, to prompt on two instances of Trillian, it may give you the option of opening a second or using the current.
Otherwise you are right, using that option to launch the object in use should work, I just tried it and it works here. I didn't get two instances of the program I am using. I tried it with trillian and with the selection I mentioned above it didn't open another trillian. Although it kept the one I had already in the tray instead of opening the contact list.
I imagine it acts differently because it is a tray program.

I don't know for sure, I only use msn (i like virus' ) I have trouble with 3ds max myself, can't change the icon in the taskbar or the program locks up.
