How To Handle Space Bugs

So you want to help us deal with space bugs huh? Well, there are plenty of them. Here we will give you some pointers on how to best help us.

  • You can also create your own unique threads and link them here. But include at least the basic details here!
  • Ensure the issue/feedback you are talking about is relevant to the VERSION NUMBER listed (See below for how)
  • Make sure all of your drivers are updated and verify the game files after every update before reporting an issue. This can often be the culprit.
  • If there is a bug that keeps repeating:
    • Include all steps you make to reproduce it.
    • Include any save games including auto saves.
    • Also please include debug.err files and pref.ini files as they can help with reproducing map generation or graphical errors.
    • When the crash dialogue appears ensure you put in an e-mail for our devs to follow up

Yeah I really hope they make the game not crashing the major priority of version 0.60. I held off for a really long time then I started playing on smaller maps and the game doesn't seem to crash when you play on small maps.

I met the Kaxx minor race, and they asked me do some research for them.  After I agreed to do the research, Kaxx Cryptography appeared as a tech I could research.  After I researched it, the quest was completed with all the expected benefits.

After that, other races began wanting to trade for Kaxx Cryptography or began asking me to give it to them.

I did complete the trade and made the gift without causing a crash or an obvious problem, but I don't think Kaxx Cryptography should be something that can be traded.

A ship that can make a ranged missile attack has these possible moves:

  1. Use all its moves, then make the ranged attack.
  2. Make a normal attack, which is the same as using all its moves, then make the ranged attack.
  3. Make the ranged attack first, which uses all its moves, so it can't do anything else.

A ship that can make a ranged antimatter bomb attack has these possible moves:

  1. Same as the ranged missile attack.
  2. Same as the ranged missile attack.
  3. Make the ranged antimatter bomb attack, which doesn't use any moves, so it can still do a normal attack or run away or do something else.

Should the differences in #3 exist?
