hi I found by accident that when you first meet a new race...you trade...when you click on all their colonies and other goodies...you hit accept and you get all they have...most of the time i gave them nothing...i had this set on godlike..

I can confirm this. I go the planet(s), all their ships, and some resources, and traded them nothing. They were perfectly happy with that deal. And so was I.
