Feelings...woe...woe...woe...feelings...

Feelings...woe...woe...woe...feelings...

I used to be such an emotional menace to this site. Say ten hail WC's I ain't around much! !

Let’s face it; people have feelings (well, MOST anyhow) ESPECIALLY NEW PEOPLE. WOW do they have feelings! And I was and still am one of those poor suckers! It would help if the person who stomped on my heart would kindly lift his foot from it by now! ().

Anyway, I’m still putting my vote in for innovation towards how skins and walls are not only rated but maybe even the comments/criticisms too. I haven’t been participating much as of late (at least as ME ) but I’d just like to give my own bit of a suggestion and see what folks think of it or want to add or subtract from it but here goes k?

These are just what-if suggestions and in no means in ANY way meant to say my ideas are better than anyone else’s or that they are even deemed necessary rather…these are just my friendly and thought-out suggestions and I know stuff like this takes recoding and recoding takes time and time=money…so I fully under$tand that part too.

ANYWAY…back to this…

What if there was a bit more categories by which to judge a skin other than by rate alone? So that an author knew where his strengths and weaknesses were? Something like:

Overall color comp: 1-10
Overall usability: 1-10
Overall appeal: 1-10

Than add the total as 8.2 or whatever the mathematical outcome (oh I hate math don’t tease). -But that way even if someone decided NOT to comment that rated him…he’d still see where his overall weaknesses and strengths were in his skin/wall etc and still get an idea of what he needed to improve on.

Then add a comments section that maybe gives you the option to critique or compliment… or both…

Your overall critique:

Your overall compliments:

And then there’s the thing about my own personal…”life get’s in the way thing” I must admit I’d still love to have an “I’m available” emoticon or I’m “Gone” emoticon next to all of my skins in case I’m gone on vacation so folks know I’m not dissin’ them…ah but now I’m pushing the envelope.

Anyway…((((((HUGS))))) and **********SMOOCHES***********

Earthquakes don't bother me. They're fun. I lived in Northridge,Ca. during the last big one. Luckily, I happened to be somewhere else. The way I think about it is, we've all got to go someday. Be it a Tornando, Earthquake, Terrorist attack, or Hurricane, doesn't change that fact. I just try to live my life to the fullest, and when that day comes, it will be welcomed and accepted.(Spoken in faith)

Dying doesn't scare me. It's the getting really old and possible deformity that worries me.

Oh yeah, Northridge was a 6.6

Cali would be a great place to live if I weren't allergic to the sun   Damn photo sensitivity.  My suite mate in college once said: "Girl, you are the whitest white girl I have ever seen!"  The same disease that does that to me has also caused me to go bald twice in my life.  Though this looks good on people such as the skinner formally known as Jarget (el californio) it's not a good look on a female   I wish my hair would get long

Java take Silica and Biotin for your hair...

and I live in Cali and I glow in the dark, I hate the sun and wait for it to go down before I go out as much as possible (It burns me and ruins my day) hehe

Ah KG, you would be beautiful with or without hair. It is what's in your heart that truly counts. I've known a few albinos in my life, now that is white. Some people say black is beautiful, but white is beautiful too. We are all beautiful in our own way. About your long hair? God blesses us all in different ways. No offense meant to atheists or agnostics.

You may wonder why I wasn't scared with a 6.6 earthquake. It's because I love to Rock n' Roll.

KG...you are so beautiful inside and out...hair or none...and I never go in the sun any longer...EVER. And I used to hate my ultra-white complexion but now I don't mind it so much...and if I want a tan...it comes out of a bottle (at least it won't age me hehe). My own mother referred to our whole family as "maggot white" if that gives you any indication of how white we are!

Strangely enough...my mother was never able to grow her hair past shoulder length whereas my sister and I were able to grow ours very long.

Oh I dunno, ah, well, ok its the quality of the Karma that counts

though Hair is a nice thing, people would stare less

Maggot white....now, that is classic!

I've had some funny times while bald, though.  My boss calls my wigs "professional" hair.  If my real hair looks good, he says, "your hair looks good, is it real?"

Then there was this time that there was a new guy at work that didn't know I was bald.  I come in really early in the morning, so I would just put a scarf on my head and put my wig on when I got to work (because they itch and bother me if I have them on too long).  Well, I forgot my wig.  You should have seen the look on his face when I said "Oops!  I guess I forgot my hair this morning!"

So, life is what you make of it.  I try to find the humor in it all.  Of course, that's always easier for me when I have hair (like I do now).  But, I always have my wigs on wig stands just in case!  (of course I still laugh at the fact that I only have 2/3 of my eyebrows.  If I don't pencil in the ends, I look really mad all the time.  Good for when you have to "talk" to an employee about something, I guess! )

Shmoopy, about the length of hair that your Mom has.  From what I understand, everyone has a length that their hair will grow.  (Just like how some people have really short eyebrows, arm hair, etc, while others are long).  So, some people can grow hair to the floor or longer while others will stop at shoulder or waist.  It has something to do with the growth and death cycles of your hair.

KG, I LOVED your wig/hair stories! Whatta hoot! But, Ang, remember...it's your strong spirit that keeps you going...we bulls are too stubborn to give up too easily for ANYONE.

I so admire your strength and courage, Angie. I'm still a bit of a scaredy cat...but I know I'm strong in some places where others fear to tread...all in the making (and shakin' and bakin' hehe).

I HATE hospitals...HATE THEM! ICK... I'll be one HAPPY camper if I NEVER have to EVER see another hospital or clinic for as LONG AS I LIVE.

Oh...Heya Gadget! Geez...seems ages since we last spoke! Miss ya sweetie! I hope your bright and shining spirit sticks around a while...we need a 'girls night out' thread or sumpin' hehe

*SMOOOOOOOOOCH*!!!!!!

KarmaGirl hair doesn't make the person in the least...

All the women on my moms side of the family are almost all ghost white with red hair and green or jade colored eyes. On my dads side all the guys are born with yellow blonde hair and when grown are a solid built 5' 9" - 6' 6" with auburn or dark brown hair and Ice Blue with Gray flecks of Brown and Gold flecked eyes.

Then there is me

a cross between the two

far as hair goes, when I was doing shots for HCV mine started shedding and then the further along in treatment I moved it started coming out in clumps but by then I had gotten over the thought of it all and it didn't matter anymore. Not to long after treatment ended it started to not fall out and to grow back though darker.

Though I will never forget the first time waking up and finding a handful of my hair on my pillow

Monday I go in and find out if I am going to have to start back in treatment again, this time around it better work cause I am not doing it anymore if it doesn't...

Talk about digression! I feel nothing but sorrow for KarmaGirl and Jafo, they have to MODERATE these threads. Sometimes I wonder what it must be like to be a god...
