Title bar in windows 11

need help

hey guys,

first i'm in love with curtains app, and used it everyday with windows 10 but since i'm an insider i have to deal with windows 11 insider preview and i can't get back to ugly slightly solid black background in the dark mode, also i'm a visual wh*re, so i love my windows looking fresh

but luckily even i know it's not supported and i shouldn't be asking but the blur background option is kinda working on windows 11 now (i hope they don't patch it or remove the code or something)

but this annoying title bar need to be trimmed down a little or try to make it blurry like the rest of the explorer background

can i do this with glyphs ? anyone with a hint or how to change it's height ?

thanks in advance, appreciate every help

Looking at your picture, it seems like the title bar is actually extending down into the command bar section (menu/icons).  I'd guess that's a result of running it on Win11?

As far as I can tell the title bar height is not adjustable through curtains.  You might "fake it" though by editing the image to create a transparent or almost transparent section to the bottom of the image and locking it in with the bottom painting margin.

I wouldn't go too crazy with a lot of skins to try to accommodate such an anomaly though, quite likely things will change on Win11, Curtains, or both.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, since Curtains is not compatible for Windows 11 yet, not really sure what will work until the compatible version come up. For now would like to advice not to use Curtains with Windows 11 to ensure stability on your system.

Thanks

well, for now Stardock has not gotten up to speed with Win11 and its features and how it does its rendering.  Safest bet is to return to previous Win10 Insider build 21390.

that is what I gonna do by tomorrow.  As using windows without visual customization is horrific experience.

Stardock you have your work cut out for you.  We need Win11 and Stardock to be compatible.

I have reverted to Win10 for the time being to continue making use of my ObjectDock subscription.
