Any ETA on when this will move out of opt-in?

Hopefully soon.  We need to make sure it's heavily tested with various DLCs disabled.

After the 4.2 update, the fonts were completely lost in the Russian version of the game. Attempts to restore the display of Russian fonts by deleting individual files in the Programdata folder did not yield results, as did the implementation of other tips offered by the support earlier. You should also not suggest checking for non-ASCII fonts in folder names, it has been checked for a long time. In this case, a typical example of the crookedness of developers who managed to break a working game

We have an opt-in that should address this issue.

Some thoughts on V4.2:

Significant reduction of game drag in the 300 turns.

The AI is still parading precious ships like the Prime Minister, Prince and Princess (with escorts) into dangerous areas.

The proximity of civilization starting points certainly ramps up desperate research, creating and cashing in scientists for 'epiphanies', risking war to snatch up Precurser Archives and going broke for Pragmatic choices to get the chance to use the 50 turns of Peace to prepare for a knock down drag out.

The AI is still sneaky as ever - using ships to bait you out of position to attack planets and installations with their 'unseen' ships.

Full disclosure: Ludacris size, Abundant resources, planets etc., 14 civs (counting mine).

Well done! Love it, though it would be cool to have about 130 turns before meeting other civs.

And what about users, which bought game in the EpicGamesStore?

Did you buy GC3 or the GC4 alpha on epic? This is a GC3 update.

I bought the game from EpicGameStores, and your Steam update does not solve the problem

See post #8.

Odd, my open beta shows as being 4.1 now instead of 4.2 like it was before the last patch…

Mine still shows v4.1. The opt-in shows "...v4.2 Russian Fix".

How can I get v4.2?

Thanks...
