Hi :)

Planets:
The description is too big and hides other objects like ships, starbases, etc. You may find a smaller way to visualize the owner of the planet and whether it is a core world. Further details: tooltip.

Ships:
Zoomed out far: You will see a symbol (check)
zoomed in: you can see the ships (check)
medium zoom: you don't get a symbol and you need a microscope to see tiny ships ;-)

Resources (zoomed in and medium zoom): Vetarens can differentiate between resources and planets. But new players will be confused.

GalCiv4 is nice to look at, but GalCiv3's presentation is more functional, especially in terms of different zoom levels.

Starbases and the new circle control area: I figured out what lies in the control zone of a star base (before its construction) but for new players it can be confusing or annoying if something is not catched by the starbase. GalCiv3's presentation was crystal clear.

Who does not know yet: sum of corners who are in the circle + corners the line goes through must be equal or bigger than four.
