Ship building broken

Not sure what's wrong but I can build ships larger than "tiny", I have researched now up to "medium" in the hopes it would solve the problem but it hasn't. It's quite frustrating because I'm enjoying the new game quite a bit the interface and general improvements from the previous game make it allot less cumbersome.

Do you mean you can't build small or medium hulls? You said you can build them.

Anyway, ships larger than tiny can be built, but you have to use the ship designer to create your own.

Its working for me and all the GC4 ships were made with the ship designer at all sizes. Where is it failing for you?
