Probably more than just the "goldilock zone" as that designates that water can be liquid on the planet.  Not all lifeforms require liquid water - frozen and barren planets may be outside that zone.

Pedantics aside, the screenshot looks nice.  :D

I love how much cleaner the UI looks! GalCiv3 was kind of cluttered. This looks much nicer!

Earth and Mars should switch orbits. Also Venus and Mercury. ;P

Looks like Jupiter and Saturn are sharing the same orbit.

Also Uranus, Neptune and their special "Planet 9" seem to share an orbit.

Trick of angle? Or is it a limit to the number of orbits to keep the stars further apart?

I got to wonder if your making the original same mistake as in galactic civilizations 3. What I’m talking about is that two had a lot of screens that did a lot. In three they took out the screens, and replaced it with the planet list that only had your colonized planets, not like today. Today that list is the equivalent of two. Not having an equivalent to all the screens of two hurt the game for awhile.
