Does anyone play cooperatively with a friend Vs AI?
I have a friend I game Civ 5 with and we got like over 1000 hours and I would love to get him into this game but I haven’t heard promising things about multiplayer.
Does anyone have a working experience?
Yeah, I played a game around a year ago and it was fine. I think it desynched a few times but we finished the game. I think we started a second game but never finished it, not because of technical difficulties, but because I got busy with other things. Just remember, though, that you need to have the same versions and expansions installed (at least the major expansions I believe).
I would hope that once 4 releases they would make a complete version of three so we could get new people into the series. I enjoyed playing through a living game but I bought the expansions one at a time with some dlc here and there it released. Asking my buddy to drop over 120 for the game is kinda a hard sell.
Yeah not just the major expansions, but the dlcs have to be the same for everyone.
you can understand stall them through steam hike you play multiplayer.
