No Themes working !

Hi Everybody I Have used Stardocks software for years now and never had no problems.

On Friday morning I Bought Stardocks Curtains and I Was impressed at first so after downloading themes I Tried to apply them nothing ! After going to the online tab and pressing download it downloads then say's installing but that's it nothing else it just stops does not apply nothing happens at all ! 

Could anybody please explain to me why this is happening?

I assume nothing. Did you take the steps necessary to apply Curtains? If you are using Windowblinds first you have to apply the the Default Microsoft theme. Then run Curtains. Did you do that?

Hi There I Have downloaded themes directly yes but still no joy double click the theme file nothing happens.

Thanks for the reply yes done everything never used windows blinds on this pc and windows is set to the normal theme....

Hello again,

When you in the Curtains Configuration Windows Select any theme other than "Windows 10 by Microsoft". Does the frame change to that theme?

If not, need to know more on your system.

  1. Windows version, please use Winver.exe to get the Full Windows version numbers.
  2. Curtains version installed.
  3. Your system CPU: Intel, AMD or ARM(SnapDragon)?
  4. Did you installed Curtains in other directory than default?

As for windows version here is a picture took directly from Winver.exe,

The program version is v1.18 Which when I Check for updates it tells me there are no updates. I Did install to the default directory too. And I Must state as can be seen the themes that come packaged with curtains work just fine using the Luma XP One now but it's when I Try to download new ones they download then go to installing but then just stop and I Open up the folders there's nothing in them. When downloading a theme from online it's the Curtains file double click to install and it just has an empty directory. Allot of the ones I Try to download in the program it's self just don't even try to download at all it's all very strange as you can guess I'm New to all this I Normally just use Ultra UX Theme patcher and use 3rd party themes but this program would and does seem to make life so much easier.

Hello,
Please try purge and reinstall steps as mentioned here: https://forums.stardock.com/500728/curtains-support-faq#CurtainsPurge. Just make sure to re-download the latest version from your account. Reboot after the purged. Reinstall, and Reboot again after the installation. Retest it. Report back here.
