Unacceptable! I thought the Iconians actually wanted their homeworld back...

For anyone unfamiliar with the GalCiv3 lore, the Iconians lost their homeworld to the Yor AI. So in this game I'm playing as Terran. After conquering Iconia back from the rogue AI Yor, its pretty surprising that Iconians wont trade their homeworld back for 5 Promethion...

Unacceptable!!

lmao. Heck if I had that few stratgics, i'd happily trade all of them for a high class civilization capital. That said on a programming end player trades bunch of planets away for resources, goes to war and takes them all back is kind of like trope behaviour? I'd personally specifically code some kind of "while I appreciate the outstanding deal your offering, my advisors were pretty convincing you'd only make this kind of deal if you were planning on declaring war and taking it back so no thank you" response.

Still better than when the Iconians surrendered to the Yor in my game I turned off surrenders for years after that.

Update: After offering the Iconians their revered homeworld for - a - single - Elerium, the Iconians laconically accepted the benevolent offer, answering just... "Fine." Didn't even get a single plus for the diplomacy screen. Oh the ungrateful bastardos!

In any case, after they got settled back to their original planet, Yor promptly invaded and now the Iconians are without their homeworld. Again.

Don't let reclaiming your people's legacy get in the way of a good mercantile deal!

You think that selling Iconia for one elurum is a good deal.
