Question on Using Content in the "Graphics" sectionon of the site. :)

Anyways, are those images, icon, etc. that are listed under that categorie basically open domain? I mead are they there so that us newbies can gain experience from an possible produce something that's our own new customized icon?

Ther purpose of the graphics section was to post stuff that could be used by anyone else. I don't think all the postings in there were done with that in mind though. If you're gonna post something here it should be no problem. Be sure to credit the original source if you post something though.
