i cant move my desktop icons

Hi so i got a really old version on Fences and i wasn’t able to move anything on my desktop and i unstilled it yesterday and i still can’t move anything can you help me i have windows 10 (64 bit)

Sorry to hear you are having issues.
Check on your desktop right click to view scroll down if you see Lock Fences checked un check it.
if you don't see that or it doesn't work ,
With Windows 10 you'll need to upgrade to the newest version
of Fences https://www.stardock.com/products/fences/download
then do a purge https://forums.stardock.com/486084/fences-support-faq#reinstalling
Reboot and install the new version reboot and check Lock Fences is un checked .
Now test and all should be good to go .

thank you for replying but i actually unstilled it should i instill it again ?
Do the Purge and reboot .. noted above . Purge is different than a regular uninstall
then install the newest version from your account .reboot and test .
