Email / Activation Question

Hello, quick question. When I activate a purchased product let's say "Window Blinds", I enter the activation code and then my email. What would happen if I changed my email? Would I then activate using the new email? Or would I always have to enter the email I used when I made the purchase?

Hello,

You need to activate using the email you bought the product with.

at a later time after you can do an email change to your new email.

Just do another post then and we'll show you what to do .

What’s happen?

Starting my PC and nothing. I was asking to enter my Serial (Steam).
I've bought it, and now I have nothing anymore.
Where can I find the Serial and why CursorFX is now deactivated ?

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please try purge and reinstall steps as mentioned here: https://forums.stardock.com/486084/fences-support-faq#reinstalling Make sure to follow the steps for Steam. Retest it. Report back here.

@Basj,

I've uninstalled CursorFX  from Steam and the local Files.
After I've reinstalled, and it seems to work now again as before.

But I didn't understand, why it's stopping to work by asking the Serial.
And impossible to find my Serial anywhere.

But now it works again.

It possible that you used to have not Steam version of CursorFX, the one download for trial for example, before you have the steam version. And that version will need a key/serial to work. Remove both of them and reinstall only the Steam version should solve the issue.

@AZDude OK here's how stupid I am. I was logged into the forum, not the store. DUH!

OK It's done. When I enter the activation code after installing, can I now use my new address?

After you do the change fron the old to the new email.. Then you use the new email.
