Broken start menu/black screens

1. Windows version, please use Winver.exe for full version numbers.

Processor: Pentium(R) Dual-Core  CPU      E6600  @ 3.06GHz   3.07 GHz

RAM: 8.00 GB (7.87 GB usable) 64 Bit OS

Every time i hit the space bar my start menu and taskbar reload also.

Do you have Start10 installed? What do you mean when you said "Start menu and taskbar reload"?

No I do not have start10 installed. It's really my whole desktop like explorer keeps restarting over and over. My screen will flash black and when it stops my start menu and taskbar are unresponsive. It will do that about 7 or 8 times before I can log out and back in and I have to do this every time I start my computer. 

Try purge and reinstall as mentioned here : https://forums.stardock.com/500728/curtains-support-faq#CurtainsPurge , Make sure to re-download the latest version from your account. Reboot after the purge, re-install curtains. Make sure to install in its default directory, reboot again and retest it. Report back here.

Ok thank you 

I did as you asked and its still doing it. It wasn't doing it before I installed curtains. 

Try cleanboot to see if there is conflicting application with Curtains : https://forums.stardock.com/500728/curtains-support-faq#CurtainsServiceStart. Try that and report back.

I have tried everything I can think of to resolve the issue even the solutions we went through and its still doing it so I think I'm just going to see if I can get a refund.
