windowblinds on windows 10 and moving the start button to the middle of taskbar

the option doesnt seem to do it!

Hello, i have a 55 inch huge 4k screen and reaching all the way to the left to get the start button with the mouse is a little annoying. I am using program called taskbar x to move all the pinned icons to the middle of the taskbar and I love it, (https://chrisandriessen.nl/taskbarx) but the start button remains on the left. I saw an option inside windowblinds that supposedly moves it to the middle but putting a checkmark there and applying it doesnt do anything. Why?

Any advice is very welcome! thanks

That setting forces the start button to the middle of the taskbar vertically, not horizontally.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. That option on Windowblinds mean for putting the start button in the middle vertically not horizontally. There is no option to move Startbutton to the middle of the taskbar horizontally in Start10 or Windowblinds. But you can use Stardock ObjectDock and use its build in StartMenu Docklet and put that Dock in the middle of the screen just above the taskbar.

There is a small warning : ObjectDock is not fully compatible with Windows 10, it might not work in your system. There is 30 day Free trial, if you wish to try it.

Thanks for the clarification.. lol I already have objectdock and the work around to make it work well with windows 10 is to go the the troubleshooting and uncheck this option seen here. https://ibb.co/yqm7DSG

I have deselected other things too which i dont need - use.

If you guys know of a way to center the start button on the windows taskbar let me know.

I know that they are doing that for windows 10X

Skinning the Actual Graphic for the Startbutton with a BIG space in front of it then put it in skinstudio, you actually can make it so the Startbutton Appears to be in the center horizontally, however the Taskbar buttons still will only show on the right side of it - NO buttons on the Left side of the Startbutton.

That would also make the vertical taskbar start button disappear though right?
