Fan noise

Hi,

Have bought a new gaming laptop, with pretty good specs(GTX 1050 graphics, intel core i7 processor).

Surprised that there is a fair bit of fan noise when playing games, compared to other more graphic intensive games.

I assume it's the amount of work the processor is doing?

Is there any other reasons?

Based on my experience, it's very likely that the additional noise is from the GPU fan or the CPU fan working harder due to the game. I have had a couple of laptops over the years that have had an unbalanced or inadequately balanced fan, though, that required servicing.
