Game stuck

So apparently this is an old problem, also apparently patched out  years ago but i ran into this on a game i've invested a serious amount of time on

 

So can anyone tell me what where and how i can get this patch to fix this thing. I have to say that when things like this happens its kills any desire from me to purchase anything from companies who dont take this kid of thing seriously and actually fix the problem.

 

Case in point ive stopped buying all Civilization p[products since they refused to fix the bugged out worker problem in Civ4

Sorry to hear you are having trouble.

If you have a savegame where this is reproducible it would help a lot if you uploaded it to a cloud service (DropBox, Google Drive, One Drive) and post a link here, the developers can take a look at it.

Savegames are located in \Documents\My Games\GC3\Saves or \Documents\My Games\GC3Crusade\Saves

Couldn't replicate the problem. I loaded your savegame and reached turn 301.

Do you remember doing anything specific before it got stuck?

I get stuck when the Altarian Resistance is  going through there turn about turn 297 and i have a single single m3-1 explorer going through someone else's space and im researching beam amplification

 

Ive tried reloading the game several times and it always get stuck at this point its incredibly frustrating

Tried again, and it's not getting stuck.

I always find it easier to write a support ticket with an uploaded save game, prefs.ini and debug.err to get these kind of problems fixed.

Unfortunately, I can not reproduce my stuck turns issues so submitting a save game is useless in my case :(

I do get this issue, sometimes, and when reloading from an earlier save it's unstuck, but still, it's a problem...

How do I go about reporting such issues when I can't reproduce them?

On the contrary, we (support) would ask you to put such issues in the forums for the exact exercise that was done here.  Not only were support and devs involved, but other seasoned users like yourself can also contribute. Furthermore, this thread is now part of any future search by anyone having a like issue. This would not be possible for a ticket.

If it was determined that there was a core game issue, it would get elevated internally (a ticket).
