Windows 10 menu never is black regardless of the Curtain chosen

Hey y'all-

Not a developer so this may be a little simplistic. :grin:

So regardless of what Curtain I apply to Windows 10, currently 2004, the menu never goes full black.  Always stays dark gray background with lighter gray tiles.   Any thoughts? Ever since Aero (I'm an old guy now) have preferred jet black with some transparency all around.  Unfortunately have not been able to do that for a while.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. That menu background and menu items color are control by Windows 10 and Curtains can't change that color.

Thanks Basj.  Appreciate the quick response.

 

I was afraid that was going to be the answer.  Unfortunately, Windows Personalization doesn't want to change that color either even when I apply a custom color.  I guess Microsoft just wants it their way.

Use Start 10 and you can change the Startmenue ! ;)

Unless I am mistaken, I believe, he was referring to Windows Explorer menu or Desktop right click menu.
