Appearing lines

Hello,

sometimes (mainly after resuming the system from sleep) thin stripes appear suggesting that the application is running. No matter what application is launched, the bars disappear. I attach photos.
PS and such a detail, the icon in the tray does not remember the position and every time I have to move it to the place I want it to be.

BAD

After runing any software - OK

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know more on your system.

  1. Windows version, please use Winver.exe for full Windows version numbers.
  2. Curtains version.
  3. Is the issue theme depandent, if no, please specify which theme/style you was using, making that screenshot.

Thanks

Hi Basj,
1. Winver 2004 /19041.508
2. Curtains ver 1.01
3. Hard to say, i only use Cairo Dark and my own wallpaper.

There is no rule regarding the appearance of stripes. Now, after waking up the computer, this effect was gone. If it appears, it is rather after the system boots. The system is fresh - it is about 2 months old and there is no trash there because I take care of the system and hardware.

I don't see it on my system. Please try purge and reinstall steps as mention here : https://forums.stardock.com/500728/curtains-support-faq#CurtainsPurge . Just make sure to re-download the latest version from your account. Reboot after the purge, reinstall using the latest version. Make sure to install into its default location. Reboot again after the installation complete. And retest it. Report back.

Thank you,

I followed the recommendations, but it didn't help.
The stripes appeared when I ran the mouse over the taskbar and disappeared when I launched the application from the taskbar (e.g. file explorer).
When the stripes disappear for a while (no rule here) it's ok.
Everything is set by default in the program settings, the directory where the program is installed is also default. It took about a minute to trigger the problem after installation and restarting the computer when the problem started to appear.
Cairo Dark is the second default theme

Hello,

As I mentioned before, it does not appear on my system. Here what I see on my system.

Please try different style and see if similar behavior happen.

Thank you,

What windows scaling factor do you have set as it could be impacting things?

Also do you run Classic Shell / Open Shell?
