Missed feature: Blur transparency effect in title bar

I am using Stardock Curtains with the version 1.1 BETA. In most cases, it is working without problems – with exception of the transparency effects (if selected).

And I am missing a feature that enables transparency in title bar with blur effect like in the following example (screenshot was taken under Windows 8.1 with activated Aero Glass for Win8.1+ v1.5.3) using accent colors of the operating system for the title bar background:

Missed title bar feature : Blur effect for background colors (including accent colors in combination with gradients):

With Curtains under Windows 10 it is possible to combine a gradient within the title bar background with the accent color of the operating system easily. On the contrary, I did not have understood how to add the transparency effect in a unfailing manner. So, in the next screenshot example, the defined gradient is ok, but there is no transparency in the title bar background colors, although the transparency setting is done.

Title bar with a modified gradient of the style “Crystal” by Stardock, but without transparency (hint: in the original – un-changed – style the transparency effect is present, but very weak):

I believe you need to check the box in the edit section, Windows tab, "Replace default frames":

Regarding Blur - It's not currently supported in the Title Bar, I haven't seen anyone say anything about plans to add the feature.

Blur in the titlebar is not a feature of Curtains.

OK, but it would be great, if Stardock adds the blur transparency effect to the tittle bar in one of the next versions...

Many thanks for your hint - it works. :-)

Having the option checked uses the caption image instead of the default image, leaving it unchecked adds the image on top of the default frames.  It's a setting for each individual skin.
