What's Been Happening In Lockdown?

When you're stuck within 4 walls [figuratively] trying not to go nuts [or more nuts] you fixate on doing things.

This is what's keeping me on a relative level of sanity...both are from bare-metal strip-downs requiring brazing [metal work]...all the way to what you see now....;)

[in a bit of a rut with the colour scheme]...;)

So, what have you guys been doing for sanity? ...;)

Working on replacing windows, and siding, plus had a new roof put on. |-)

I've been trying to get a roof repaired, too. Roofers are supposed to be here in about 15 minutes. Last week they said they'd be here and they never showed up.

I've been getting fat. Had a budget of $700 for a new laptop, ending up paying $1300. But it's awesome!

I think I might have gone a little silly in some areas. But generally speaking surviving the lockdown fine. Had a family loss early in the year but not due to COVID-19, made it impossible to attend the funeral though.

Right now I am looking at eating out for the first time in awhile for my birthday. Most places have good systems in place not and thankfully my area is not really affected too much by the pandemic.

Not really doing much different to before Covid-19.  I mowed the lawns a couple of days ago and tidied up in the garage some... we're using it as a storage area and it got a bit disorganised after searches for various bits 'n pieces.  Other than that I've fairly much been leading the quiet life doing stuff on my PC or watching a bit of TV.  The TV channels have been streaming some shows I missed during the first airing, so I'm catching up with them now.

Another thing I'm doing is drinking lots o' beer... trying lots of beers new to me, including imported brews and some Aussie brews I'd not tried before.  I don't even have to go out... both the nearest to us bottle shops deliver to the door.  I might even try a few ciders.  Dan Murphys has a good selection of imported ciders and Aussie ones.

Not really locked down anymore. Had dinner in a restaurant, bars are open. Just have to wear a mask going into stores which is no big deal. I'd say we've been 95% open for about a month now.\o/

Wear your damn mask!

The lockdown period for me has both been awful and amazing just not at the same time.

My wife was diagnosed with Breast Cancer summer last year, had surgery 22nd Feb and is trying to recover before 5 sessions of Radiotherapy commence. I Was also given some personal health news i do not wish to go into at this time, but i can say i have a degenerative Brain Condition that when it goes fully on, will end my life, but right now it was caught very early.

Lost my mum during last years Epidemic, not covid, but something never the less has been passed to me, Family DNA can be a Bitch.

My garden fences were all but destroyed in the recent Super Storm, so been working outside for over two weeks to make it right, almost 95% Completed.

On the good side, my Daughter Married her Partner and now i have 2 girls married and could not be more happy to welcome my new daughter into my family.

I have a new Grandson, he is full of life and has a great smile.

So a year of massive contrasts, did also play a small part in The International Brigade Logistics sending good people to Europe, more of that to come , or until it is no longer needed.
