Getting Program Shortcuts onto Desktop

I am just getting started with the free version of Fences, but planning to buy it soon.  I have very few program shortcuts on my desktop, but I do have a lot of programs.  How do I get all the program shortcuts to be added to my desktop?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Usually when you install a program it will ask you if want to have the shortcut icon to be put on your desktop. If you did not have those than you will need to make the shortcut manually. Here a simple guide to Create Desktop shortcut. https://www.howtogeek.com/436615/how-to-create-desktop-shortcuts-on-windows-10-the-easy-way/

Just to add to the guide basj linked to, you can open the run prompt (press Windows + R) and type shell:AppsFolder and press Enter (or OK button). This will open the Applications folder with all your installed apps (assuming that they were installed correctly) which will include those installed through the Microsoft Store. This is, to my knowledge, the only way to get shortcuts to apps from the Microsoft Store. Hope this helps 😉
