Highly Requested fix, Patch on the way?

Auto-Organizing Icon layout during resolution scaling.

Hello, I am pretty new here but felt like I should at least show my particular hate towards a "featurette" of fences.

Auto-Organizing Icons not located in Fences after any change to the video input, the scaling, the resolution.

The major point in having Fences is to have a nice looking and well organised desktop. However this experience breaking bug brings hateful comment towards the quality of this product.

I'm sure almost anyone here on this forums as read multiple topic about this subject, however this issues has been around for a very long time, at this point I am questioning the developers if they are really thinking about fixing this issues.

   If unclear , the issue is related to free roaming out of fences icons/app. Every time there's a change in the display layout, the desktop tend to scramble into a patchy irregular pattern. Making it unbearable to reorganize. Of course some may say use the snapshot options, however this is a bothering workaround something that shouldn't be there in the first place.

Having a direct answer would at least finish this mess, and of course make me go somewhere else for similar product.
I specifically don't want any of my friends or family live this broken software until this is fixed.

ps:I know this seems like a first world problems, but Fences is a paid software intended to have a beautiful structured layout.

As I stated in my post earlier, a better solution could be to either

  • Have a right click context menu entry like "Restore Last Snapshot" or something similar. I fell like this, though it would not exactly solve the issue, it would be far less annoying of a problem.

or

  • Somehow detect a change in the display configuration and, either automatically, or after asking a user through a popup confirmation message box, restore the last snapshot (preferably, user confirmation/automatic should be selected through Fences setting)

 

I think that the first option at least would be not to hard to add. If possible, please do forward that to you team. Thank you for your attention!

Of course a better placement for Restore Last Snapshot would be nice, I think its cutting the corner round.

The thing about my post is especially made to confirm if the Stardock team is aware about it, if was if they are really motivated to fix this.

Also sorry I didn't want to grab attention away form other post like yours
