32bit version

Hi, Curtains is nice but will there be a 32bit version of Curtains?

That would be even better!

Cheers!

I get information from Support that there will be no 32bit version of Curtains.

Thank you,

We do not anticipate there being a significant number of 32 bit Windows 10 installs that run a recent version of Windows 10.

Should there be sufficient demand we could make a version however.

IMHO people running on old HW would chose 32bit because of the lower requirements and they are also the kind of users who would like to make Win10 look more like a classic Windows version, perhaps thats just me ;-)

So... people back me up on this and tell Stardock !

Since I’ve been here (look at my date) I think you are the only one that asked that question on any StarDock product.

The ARM Based processors running Win10 require 32bit versions of the programs. so you could see the amount of people requiring this increase now.

In this case that wouldn't be the case as Curtains would require a 64 bit native ARM version of Curtains not a 32 bit Intel one.  A 32 bit one wouldn't work either (most intel 32 bit apps can run under emulation, but Curtains wouldn't due to how it works)

We are unsure if there is sufficient demand for an ARM version at this time.

I was under the impression that Curtains was a 32 bit program.  On my computer it installed in the following directory: C:\Program Files (x86)

That alone does not mean that it's a 32 bit application. Google Chrome (64 bit) is installed in C:\Program Files (x86) by default (I don't even think you can change install path), and others.
