Trinity Missing Settings

So i have an old Trinity copy i purchased awhile back and tried to instal on windows 10, the Documents/Ironclad/Settings folder will not load after instal and resolution settings do not show up.

I am trying to try modding in the system and i thought trinity was all encompassing, ive no idea if this works anymore with win 10 pro or not but i really want to access the game and be able to us it. Do i need to repurchase it on steam? i tried using the key code i was given to activate it but it says it is not a viable key even tho i got it from startdock, i am starting to suspect that the game on Stardock i purchased is no longer the updated version shown on steam. What can i do with this Trinity Copy to either make it work or to use it on steam so i can get the most up-to-date software to fix this settings install issue? i really need the resolutions settings to show up so i can use it on my specialty monitor.

thanks in advance.

Go to the main menu option, mod tab, then hit the "Show Mod Path" button. This will show you the location of your mod folder, which should be in the same directory as your settings folder, even if it is in an unusual location.

You may then want to make sure the folders in that directory and settings files are not set to read only.

If you registered your game with Stardock, you can download the latest patched version from the Stardock store
