Edge problem with a stray new tab

I uninstalled Curtains because it started creating a new tab every time I opened Edge (updated to the latest version with Chromium engine).  This new page was labelled something to the effect of: "Windows 10 title bar ??? disabled."  Curtains was OK yesterday.  It only started doing this today.  Is this a known issue?

hmm, that is curious.  I just checked here with the latest Edge release and the canary build without an issue.

Have you manually added any command line parameters to Edge?

As a fix if you go into Curtains settings you could disable the option to apply a style to Chrome based browsers and it would stop doing anything.

I think that may happen if you open a web address directly from a shortcut, before Edge or Chrome is already open.

The issue was resolved in the 1.01 update which went out this week.
