Latest Windows patch conflicts with Windowblinds

Min/Max/Close buttons don't get skinned and lose function

Latest Windows patch for Windows 10 version 2004, KB4557957, mess up min/max/close on most new Windows apps like calculator, calendar, personalize, settings, etc.. I have tested twice by uninstalling and reinstalling and can confirm that it's the patch causing the errors.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know if the issue on specific WB style or all styles?

Happens with all styles, (tried at least 20-25) also the ones with buttons placed almost in the same place as the default ones. Nothing happens when I try to click on or around the buttons. Have to right click on taskbar buttons to close windows. When closing the a window, calculator or apps with the error, WindowFX does not apply animations and it looks just  like the window/app crashes.

Do you have curtains installed?

If so go to curtains UI, apply win10 and reboot.  Then reapply your WB.

Any change?

I installed 2004 in a VM and installed that patch and cannot see any issues here.

Uninstalled Curtains and the problem seems to be solved. I didn't use Curtains much, so I'm just happy Windowblinds works for now.

Thank you!
