Clone Icons

Where Do They Go

Hi I have just DesktopX back on my PC and I am using an old theme h2so4 by Chad Ross with settings save 10 years ago when it was last on my PC. I can remember what changes to make to an icon but cant remember how to clone it. Select Clone Object but where does the clone go - I can't see it to make the changes I need.

Thanks

If I remember right it pops up 10 pixels down and 10 pixels to the right.   15 pixels down and 15 pixels to the right.

You can also open up the DTX Navigator (?) and type in a new set of X Y co-ordinates to move to somewhere you can see it.

DaveRI - That's why I couldn't see it - on top off the original. Thanks.

How do I find DTX Navigator ?

You need to be in DTX Builder.  If you're not, rightclick on the DTX icon in the systray and select "Switch to DesktopX Builder".

Once in Builder, right click on the DTX systray icon and select "List Objects".

The Navigator window that comes up may not show the window buttons in the top right (not really Win10 compatible).  If you click in the top right corner where the close button should be, it'll close.  You can also rightclick on the title bar and get the min/max/close options.
