Steam and Crusade

weird problem

apparently when I purchased GCIII it came bundled with the crusade dlc. The reason I know this is because I can play the dlc. However, because of the bundling it does not show up as dlc in steam and that is creating issues with non-campaign game play.

For example, creating a custom race the images for races in crusade are not available. They appear but say crusade is required to use. Also, apparently some abilities, traits, etc.. are not showing up. 

I think it might be as simple as moding an xml file to say I have purchased the dlc.  but I have no idea what xml file that might be. 

Any help would be appreciated.

Right click on GC3 in your Steam library, click Properties, then go to the DLC tab and make sure that Crusade is installed.

If the problem continues go to the Local files tab and click on Verify integrity of game files.
