Retrieving old product keys

Is it possible to retrieve a key for my old purchase of M&B: Warband from Stardock? I hadn't played it in years, but now that i want to go back and get it both Stardock and Gamestop have stopped providing access to my game. Preferably i'd like to take my key to Taleworlds and add it to my account with them so i don't lose it again.

If you bought it on Impulse that is Gamestop's responsibility. We can provide access to Stardock publisher titles you bought.

What of games purchased in 2010, before Impulse? Were all license rights handed over (other than Stardock published) to Gamestop at that time?
