Visual Studio 2019 Behaves Badly

window dissapears and moves position

With Groupy installed, Visual Studio 2019 behaves oddly.

When closing a solution (and other time consuming tasks) Visual Studio disappears.  When focus does come back, the app window is in a different position.  The new position is usually moved to the right with 1/3 - 1/2 of the window off the screen.  What a pain in the butt.  It was so annoying that I uninstalled Groupy for about two weeks.  I loved that the problem went away.  Unfortunately, I missed the benefits it offered too much and reinstalled.  Now I sit at a level of about 45% hating on it and 55% digging it.  Please fix this crappy "feature".

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know more.

1) Windows version. Please use Winver.exe for full Windows version numbers.

2) Groupy version.

3) Visual Studio version numbers.

4) Post a video of the issue and link it here for us to understand the issue more clearly.

Thanks

I can confirm that this happens to me as well.

1. Windows 10 Home, version 1909, OS Build 18363.778

2. Groupy v1.32

3. Visual Studio 2019 version 16.5.5

4. This is impractical because it doesn't happen with any degree of predictability, so I could be saving dozens of video that show nothing.  It seems to be related to lengthy VS2019 tasks that might appear to be the application not responding.

FYI, the same thing happens with Sage 50 Pro Accounting (but I've already raised an issue on this forum for that occurrence).

Yeah...nothing in 16 months.  For me, the problem seems to have been resolved with one of the updates to Groupy.
