Cannot rename icons on Desktop

In WindowFX 6.05, when I turn on the "Automatically hide desktop icons unless the desktop has focus" setting and then try to rename an icon on the desktop, it fails.

  1. In the WindowFX settings, under Desktop Icons, click "Automatically hide..."
  2. Click the Desktop
  3. Select an icon and try to rename it (F2 or right-click, rename)

Results: the icons disappear, and rename fails

Expected: the icons to stay visible and in focus during a rename operation
