Endeavour is one of the very best dark skins around, and as you said, works great in W 10.

I dont understand how a 7 skin would work on 10 though.Is it just the start menu that is skinned differently or are there other sections that need help or reskinning.(like with supplemental programs for compatibility?)

Hey, I dunno if the 10 start menu is skinned differently. You can't skin the 10 start menu. You must use Start10.  Start10 will use the WB skin.

With Start 10 and OldNewExplorer installed, your windows 10 should act pretty much like win 7. With a few exeptions.....

If you're skinning for W10 exclusively remember:

1 "Aero peek" taskbar popups don't skin.

2  Don't bother with taskbar jumplists.

3 tool tip only works for mouseover on items, so don't bother with the "arrow", close, and config btton.

4 right click on desktop/taskbar uses a combo of classic colors and graphics. The menu background is the menu color and the "stroke" around the menu is the button shadow (correct me if I'm wrong guys i'm working off my  memory) the item selection is still graphics based.

5 to change the taskbar expand "popup", skin the non caption window edge. Note: this section does not support transparency so a solid image with square edges is recommended.

Good question!  Bichur hasn't been seen for around 12 months or more..... nor has his broken throbber.  Geez, didn't we have fun with that thread.  Philly is another who hasn't been seen for a while.

It would be nice if those old-timers who haven't logged in for a while popped in to let us know they are okay.

  Ahhh, I remember Knot Aero. Mike made me redo the DX stuff for it like at least 5 times or more.  Thanks, Mike, for helping me to do better.
